Hi, my name is Meira! I am currently an Educational / Instructional Technology Coach at an independent school in Los Angeles California. Learn more about me as an educational technologist here.

I am a digital arts teacher and creative. I have experience working internationally in an American school in Eastern Europe and independent schools in NYC and Los Angeles. Learn about about my work as a teacher here.

I am a Google Certified Trainer, ISTE Certified Educator, Adobe Education Trainer, Apple Teacher, Common Sense Educator, Screencastify Coach, Edpuzzle Coach & Trainer and Apple Learning Coach. I am passionate about creativity and creating, education, art, technology, and strategies for making life more efficient and productive through technology. I am a strong proponent of creativity in the classroom, visible thinking practices, and supporting lifelong learning.

I have a Masters degree in Educational Technology from Teachers College, Columbia University. My Master’s degree is coupled with a certification from New York State as a Technology Specialist K-12. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Alfred University with concentrations in digital media, photography, video, and graphic design. I have been a technology integrator and digital art teacher and I have taught media arts classes, such as Video, Graphic Design, and Photography. I also have professional non-teaching experience as a web designer and developer in New York City.
