Mi Retrato (My Portrait)

GOOGLE DRAWINGS & SCREENCASTIFY

[ISTE Standard: Creative Communicator]

For this project, I collaborated with the Spanish teacher to create a project that utilized the productive skills of both writing and speaking. Students were introduced to Google Drawings and created a basic "My name is..." poster which they then shared via a Padlet wall. They then had to complete a more extensive "My Portrait" drawing using the template provided with guidance as to the necessary vocabulary and sentence structure. Students then recorded a screencast of themselves and their poster via Screencastify to demonstrate their speaking skills.
